Phase change cooling

When the environment is unforgiving and sustained performance is non-negotiable, phase change technology delivers. Embedded cooling packs absorb and store large amounts of body heat as they transition from solid to liquid, providing deep, consistent relief for hours.

Freeze or pre-cool the packs

Insert the phase change packs into the freezer or a cooler with ice for the recommended time. This charges the material at its optimal temperature threshold, typically around 58–65°F (14–18°C).

Packs inserted into your vest

Slide the pre-cooled packs into the vest's dedicated pockets. The vest sits against your core, precisely where temperature regulation has the greatest systemic impact.

Latent heat absorption begins

As your body heat transfers into the packs, the phase change material absorbs enormous amounts of thermal energy, without itself rising in temperature. This is the principle of latent heat: the material changes state, not temperature.
